Lomi Haus
About three weeks ago after having a 30 minute jog I roam around the town of Baras, Rizal to look for mami for breakfast but did not find any. While on my way home I stumbled upon this unnamed panciteria. where men flocked around. Curious enough I parked near the place and inquired what they serve, according to one customer they serve no other than lomi. The last time I’ve eaten lomi was way back 2 years ago when I was still working in batangas. I ordered one bowl of lomi but I still have to wait for few minutes.
Lomi
I don’t know how lomi is eaten so I just followed what others are doing while waiting for it to be served. They crashed 3 chilli peppers and 3 calamansi on a saucer. After few minutes of waiting lomi was served hot. Lomi is a Chinese-Filipino dish made of thick egg-noodle mixed with small pieces of meat, usually pork or chicken, and pork liver with other seasonings and kikiam or meatballs. This is best eaten while steaming hot. Price is 25 pesos.
